Budgies tracks real price history for every product we cover — not just today's sticker price, but what it typically costs and the lowest we've actually seen it. That history is what turns a markdown into a deal score: how the current price compares to the typical price, the historical low, and (where we have it) what other stores charge for the same item right now.

If a "regular price" looks inflated just to make a discount look bigger, we flag it SUS instead of celebrating it. And when the numbers don't back up a "deal," Budgie says so directly in Deals Worth Waiting For rather than pushing an affiliate link anyway — see how the whole thing works.
